About me
 

Hi, I'm Helen - I qualified as a Registered General Nurse over 40 years ago and have enjoyed a rich and varied nursing career. My experience spans a range of specialisms, including medical and surgical hospital care, general practice nursing, repatriation nursing, and travel health and vaccination.

​

For 18 years, I worked as a Practice Nurse, where I regularly carried out ear wax removal procedures. It was always a rewarding part of my role, helping people feel more comfortable and, in many cases, helping to restore their hearing.

​

Having personally experienced issues with excess ear wax, I completely understand the discomfort and frustration it can cause. This gives me real empathy for others and a strong commitment to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care.

​

I always keep up to date with the latest techniques and best practices in ear wax removal and am pleased to be bringing my experience and expertise to a calm, friendly setting in Hove. Patient comfort and professional care are at the heart of everything I do.
